Philosopher, teacher and social activist focused on developing tools and campaigns that improve the lives of the most vulnerable groups. My research focuses on citizen participation, social movements, applied ethics and technologies for the common good.
Sonia Bussu is Associate Professor of Public Policy at Department of Public Administration and Policy, University of Birmingham. Her work focuses on strengthening democracy through participatory governance and democratic innovations, participatory action research, social movements and the commons.
Dr Zarah Eve is an associate lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University in the Department of Psychology. Zarah’s research focuses on exploring young people’s lived experiences of mental health through creative methodologies.
Researcher in digital humanities and social sciences, he works at the intersection between action research, facilitation and teaching, connecting collaborative ethnography and co-creation of knowledge. His main interests are related to climate emergence, ecofeminism and civic technologies, and in parallel to the methodological experimentation derived from combining digital culture with qualitative approaches

Linton is a Human Rights and Ethics Scholar at The University of Leicester researching the intersection between Housing, Migration and Far-Right Politics. He is also a Young Leader for The Mental Health Foundation.
My interests focus on the relationship between civil society actors (social movements, citizen platforms, etc.) and local government and public administration. And how this collaboration between agents of different natures generates new spaces for the local government and public administration
Nadia is a collaborator at Platoniq with experience as a researcher, illustrator, facilitator, urbanist, and technologist. Her work focuses on civic technology, data governance, and public space. As a founder of Design Justice Mediterranea, She is actively involved in creating collective spaces of resistance, knowledge sharing, and community. She has worked as a researcher under Akwugo Emejulu on the project ‘To Exist is to Resist’ penning a chapter in book of the same name.
Niamh (pronounced [Ne-ev]) is young adults lead at 42nd Street an innovative mental health charity working across Greater Manchester. She leads on peer led research around young adults experiences of accessing mental health support, advocating for the use of participatory processes which give young people agency and voice as we advocate for change.
Public institutions and policy-makers are hungry for wider participation. Citizens are challenging them with wiLder participation - deliberative democracy is only one letter away! Let’s debate, let’s mix, let’s democratise!
