Welcome to our Decidim community!

Our goal is generate a community interested in playing, innovating, and co-creating with digital democratic participatory processes. In a time when the majority of digital platforms are owned by giant companies and democratic processes seemed to be stunted by out dated methods and ideas; we here shake things up with digital tools 📡📱 and more transparency🔍.

Why Decidim?

The reality is that not many tools exist to create a more transparent and democratic participatory process online. But unlike other online platforms like consul there are a lot more features to play with and at Platoniq are creating even more possibilities, features, and components to make the platform even more accessible and ready for a variety of contexts.

Moreover Decidim was created by the Ayuntamiento of Barcelona and is open source unlike facbook, twitter, or slack it's not owned by a giant private corporation.

What's happening here?

In this process we're creating a community to generate knowledge, play with the platform, debate ideas, and propose new solutions and concepts to create a more usable and holistic online tool for participatory processes whether it's for municipalities, organizations, collectives etc.

Because we believe that you, whether you see yourself as a participant or administrator hold the keys to collaborating to build a better world. Your experience, know-how, and questions are invaluable resources for building, creating, and innovating.
