Learning styles have been debunked repeatedly and there's no conclusive evidence that people do learn better in different ways (the research that does exist is limited and flawed at best). Research actually shows that people learn best when taught with all the VARK methods, not just one. Even if you prefer one style over another, using only that style doesn't actually improve your learning over the others.
I don't know if that 'all the methods' benefit has been shown to be due to repetition or some quality of multiple ways of access, but the research definitely shows individual learning styles aren't a thing. Which individual learning style you learn from doesn't really affect your learning, but using all of them does. It's more of a capitalist myth to sell textbooks and assessment tools than an accurate psychological phenomenon.
