Presentation of Platoniq's School of Creativity and Democracy
The Platoniq Foundation's School of Creativity and Democracy proposes an intensive training programme in alternative democratic practices, based on experiments with deliberative assemblies and the creation of digital content that triggers social dialogue. The aim is to prepare for active participation in democratic processes and to contribute to a model of citizen participation.
A six-month training, based on itineraries according to speciality, whose activities will focus on consolidating alliances with civic organisations, carrying out promotional campaigns and disseminating knowledge to improve democratic innovation. All this, to prepare citizens to exercise their rights in the digital environment in a universal and egalitarian way, to provoke communities and individuals to engage in collective and civic actions for a fairer society and to prepare future generations to participate in the co-design of ethical futures.
The school project is made possible thanks to the support of the Open Society Foundations.
