This webinar, entitled ‘The transformative power of legislative theatre’, will present the basics of legislative theatre, a technique of advocacy and citizen participation proposed by Augusto Boal in the 1970s, from which advocacy experiences have been articulated around the world.
Legislative theatre will bring a dynamic and interactive element to the seminar. Through this method, participants will be able to simulate real-world decision-making processes, address pressing issues and propose policy solutions in a safe and creative space. This format also includes follow-up mechanisms to see how their proposals are implemented.
