Over the past few months we ran a survey among 16-25 year olds in Greater Manchester.
Most of the participants were 18 – 25 years old which was expected as this was the main target audience of the Mindset Revolution project and the survey in question. The survey was available to all members of the public online, in addition some respondents were asked in person, the majority of which were student volunteers asked during a charity event as well as participants from the public in Manchester city centre. What is Mindset Revolution? What the young people in the team think
Mindset Revolution is a project focusing on Youth Voice – we believe that, as young people in the healthcare system, we should have a voice and a part in shaping that system. This is a form of participatory democracy or a ‘coproduction’ approach. But as young people ourselves, it’s in our interests to hold that opinion, so that bears the question: “We care about Youth Voice, why should you?”

Whether you would like to take a break and grab a coffee on your own or with friends or just study in a café setting, these top five spots are amazing!
- The first one we have is the Feel Good Club! This cafe is a mental health and wellbeing café and is the perfect place to wind down. It is also pet friendly so if you have a furry friend, you could also take them along! You can choose from a selection of coffee, wine, cakes and brunch. Also, there are plenty of workshops that take place here and all the staff are mental health first aid trained!
