🎧 YMHBB Podcast Series: Youth Voices for Mental Health Justice

The Youth Mental Health Beyond Borders (YMHBB) podcast series is a tool for political storytelling and collective reflection. In each episode, young people from Barcelona and Manchester share real-life experiences related to their mental health, touching on issues such as racism, housing, precarity, access to services, and social pressure.

🌀 What are Podproposals?

Podproposals combine two key elements:
🎧 Podcast + 🧭 Policy proposal

Each podcast episode acts as a trigger for listening, reflection, and action. Based on the stories shared by young people, each episode generates:

  1. A public debate around a specific mental health issue (e.g. the emotional toll of the housing crisis).

  2. A related policy proposal, drafted by young people based on their lived experience, and open for collective input via the Decidim platform.

  3. A follow-up and accountability process, with the aim of influencing real institutional decisions.
